The Masque de Fer Fencing Club proudly hosts its annual MDF Cup to be held  on November 4-5 ,2023. This tournament is part of the official Quebec provincial youth circuit.

Sunday November 05 – Epee

The schedule is separated into four (4) blocks (Saturday a.m. and p.m., Sunday a.m. and p.m.). A fencer can only register for one event per block. The awarding of medals will immediately follow the end of the events.

Formula:

The tournament is governed by the FEQ (2023-2024) regulations. Complete fencing attire is required (NO track pants, and plastron is mandatory), electric weapons in all categories. 2 round of pool for u15 if 23 fencers or more are register in the category.

Event : -11 years old epee and foil: blades # 2 only

Registration:

• Administration fees : 15,00$
• Event: 30,00$

In case of registration in the wrong category, you will be able to correct your category until the morning of the tournament, when it will be possible taking into account the schedule (for example: if a cadet registers inU15 and arrives after the cadet event, he will not be able to change the event and no refund will be issued. If he realizes the error and shows up before the start of the cadet event, he may change category).

Registration after October 29, 2023: After this date, the cost of on-site registration will be double the registration fee and must be paid in cash. ATTENTION: Double fees apply for registration on site

Cancellations: a partial refund (80%) of the registration fees will be given to you by the Quebec fencing federation if you notify the organizer of your absence no later than Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Important:

All fencers must hold a valid CFF competition license according to their provincial branch regulations. Please make sure you have a valid competitive affiliation before the tournament, it is not possible to make a paper affiliation on site. Questions relating to affiliation should be addressed to the Quebec Federation of Fencing or your provincial federation.

Age Eligibility for the season 2023-2024:

Access to the main field will be permitted only to club coaches.

The list of coaches is defined by the provincial Federation. In order to facilitate the competition day, a coaches meeting will be organized in the morning of each competition day. Each coach will get their coaches meeting access card.

No combat outside the reserved areas will be tolerated.
